Assistant Manager - Zabbix

As a Zabbix Developer - Assistance Manager, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining monitoring solutions using Zabbix 7.2. You will oversee the implementation of Zabbix best practices and provide guidance to the team while ensuring the efficient operation of monitoring systems. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, reliability, and availability. Key Responsibilities: Zabbix Configuration and Management: Develop and implement Zabbix monitoring solutions per organizational needs. Configure Zabbix servers, agents, and proxies. Optimize the performance of Zabbix installations and troubleshoot issues. System Development: Design and implement custom monitoring templates, dashboards, and alerts. Integrate Zabbix with other tools (e.g., ticketing systems, chat applications) for enhanced functionality. Develop and maintain scripts using supported programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate tasks and improve efficiency. Team Leadership and Assistance: Oversee junior developers and assist with their professional development. Provide mentorship and training on Zabbix best practices and monitoring strategies. Act as a point of contact for Zabbix-related queries and challenges within the team. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and processes. Generate reports and provide insights on monitoring metrics and system health to stakeholders.
