Job Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of a program that combines geospatial analytics, data science, and food-land-water systems to drive sustainability and equity outcomes. - Oversee a portfolio of projects that leverage data and digital technologies to understand complex food-land-water systems and support decision-making for more sustainable and equitable outcomes. - Cultivate an engaged community of partners, clients, and collaborators to maximize impact and learning across the program. - Provide thought leadership on how data, technology, and innovative approaches can advance sustainable food, land, and water management. - Represent the program externally and participate in strategic initiatives and partnerships. - Manage a team of subject matter experts, data scientists, and project managers to deliver high-quality work. - Ensure effective program management, monitoring, and learning to continuously improve the program's impact. Qualifications: - Advanced degree in a relevant field such as geography, data science, environmental science, or a related discipline. - At least 10 years of experience managing multidisciplinary programs or projects related to sustainability, natural resource management, or international development. - Strong technical skills in geospatial analysis, data science, and innovative technology applications. - Demonstrated ability to lead collaborative, multi-stakeholder initiatives and build productive partnerships. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences. - Passion for sustainable development and a commitment to WRI's mission and values.
