About the role

The World Bank Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) unit within the Infrastructure and Natural Resources (INR) Global Practice. This role will be responsible for providing high-quality financial advisory and analytical support to World Bank teams and client countries on infrastructure and natural resources projects. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for: - Conducting detailed financial analyses, modeling, and valuations for infrastructure and natural resources projects, including public-private partnerships; - Providing advisory services on financial structuring, financing options, and risk mitigation strategies for projects; - Supporting the appraisal and due diligence of investment projects, including the review of financial projections, sensitivity analyses, and recommendations; - Assisting in the design and implementation of public-private partnerships and other innovative financing mechanisms for infrastructure and natural resources projects; - Preparing high-quality reports, presentations, and other deliverables to support the World Bank's advisory services and client engagements; - Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the World Bank Group to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to financial advisory services; - Providing capacity building and training to World Bank staff and client country counterparts on financial modeling, project finance, and other relevant topics.
