Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Workshop Manager located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The Workshop Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the vehicle maintenance workshop, including scheduling and supervising maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely servicing of the fleet, managing workshop staff, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves procuring spare parts, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with drivers and other departments to minimize vehicle downtime.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Experience in team management and staff supervision
- Proficiency in inventory management and procurement of spare parts
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in the transport industry
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Relevant prior experience managing a vehicle workshop, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and generating reports
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is an advantage
