Role Description The Workshop Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Burhanpur. The Workshop Manager oversees day-to-day workshop operations, including planning and assigning work, supervising technicians, and ensuring timely completion of vehicle servicing and repairs. This role is responsible for maintaining safety standards, monitoring the quality of work, and managing tools, equipment, and inventory. The Workshop Manager also interacts with customers to explain work performed, provide estimates, and resolve service-related concerns, while coordinating with other departments to support overall business goals. The position involves preparing reports, tracking performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of automotive service, repair processes, and workshop operations.
- Experience supervising technical teams, with the ability to allocate tasks and monitor performance.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and workshop management systems for scheduling, reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to implement and uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards within the workshop.
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and time management.
- Prior experience in an automotive workshop or service center in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in automobile engineering or a related field is an advantage.
