Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Faridabad for a Works Manager specializing in Eicher Motors bus and truck service operations. The Works Manager will oversee vehicle servicing and maintenance, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. Key responsibilities include managing service teams, ensuring efficient workflow within the workshop, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. Additionally, the role requires preparing reports, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing service improvement plans to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Technical expertise in automotive maintenance and repair, with specific knowledge in servicing commercial vehicles (trucks and buses).
- Proven ability to manage and supervise workshop operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on training and motivating service teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to address client needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Analytical and organizational skills for performance tracking, problem-solving, and process improvements.
- Knowledge of Eicher Motors' product range and prior experience in a similar role in the commercial vehicle industry is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools, as well as familiarity with safety procedures and protocols.
- Overall, a proactive approach to fostering efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
experience -5-7 years of experience required in repairs and maintaining service of trucks and bus.
knowledge of sap would be given advantage.
job location - tikri kalan, delhi.
salary- 40-45k per month and extra incentive schemes.
