Role Description The Workplace Designer will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing functional, aesthetic, and efficient workplace environments for clients in the interiors and architecture space. This full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi involves collaborating with clients to understand organizational culture, space requirements, and workflow patterns, then translating those needs into creative design concepts and layouts. The role includes producing design presentations, space plans, and detailed drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and ensuring projects align with brand identity and ergonomic best practices. The Workplace Designer will also participate in site visits, oversee implementation quality, manage timelines and design documentation, and stay updated on trends in workplace strategy, sustainability, and employee experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in workplace or interior design, including space planning, concept development, and layout optimization for office environments.
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization tools (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and the ability to produce clear drawings, 3D views, and presentations.
- Strong understanding of workplace strategy, ergonomics, building codes, and best practices related to functionality, circulation, and user experience.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline; professional certifications or portfolio of workplace projects are an advantage.
- Interest in sustainability, inclusive design, and creating workspaces that support diverse teams and flexible work styles.
