We are currently looking for a HR Operations Specialist (internal job title HR Operations Manager) to join out HR Lifecycle Specialist team. Our HR Lifecycle Specialists team plays a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle for our clients, from an employee's first day to offboarding. This team is responsible for handling complex people-related matters and ensuring a seamless, efficient HR lifecycle process for our clients' talent, while also maintaining compliance across our entities and keeping our knowledge documentation up to date. What you will do as an HR Operations Specialist... Serve as the primary HR expert for France, managing complex employment matters throughout the EOR lifecycle, including offboarding. Act as the first point of contact for employees and clients, offering expert guidance on HR-related issues. Ensure compliance with Italian employment laws, advising on best practices and maintaining smooth HR operations. Develop, refine, and enforce country-specific HR policies and processes to align with regulatory requirements. Identify compliance risks or discrepancies through reporting, implementing corrective actions as needed. Support administrative HR tasks including (but not limited to) generating reports, employment verification letters, audits, HRIS management. Drive process improvements by streamlining workflows to enhance efficiency, compliance, and quality. Provide a localized, high-touch HR experience while collaborating with the product team to develop scalable solutions. Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Payroll, and Product teams to ensure seamless integration of HR processes. Standardize and optimize HR procedures across global entities, with a strong focus on France. Address internal and external HR queries with accuracy, serving as a trusted resource for Italian employment matters. Undertake additional ad hoc tasks and projects as required to support the team and business needs. What we are looking for… At least 4+ years of experience in HR setup and operations, with mandatory expertise in French HR legislation. Additional experience in other European countries is highly desirable. Proven experience with working with clients Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to handle complex, multi-country HR projects. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in French and English (written and spoken). Solid experience with offboarding processes Experience with Portage set-up is highly desirable
