Key Responsibilities
- Workday Configuration Engineering Primary Focus
- Lead the technical configuration of Workday HCM modules Core HCM Recruitment Core Advanced Compensation Talent Performance and Security
- Engineer complex Calculated Fields Condition Rules Eligibility Rules and advanced Business Processes BPs to meet global FMCG requirements
- Design and maintain the Workday Security Model ensuring robust data privacy and rolebased access control across global jurisdictions
- Identify system improvement opportunities and propose actionable technical recommendations to optimize the Workday footprint
- Manage technical updates during Workday SemiAnnual Releases assessing the impact of new features and coordinating defect fixes with Workday Support
- Technical Integration Reporting
- Collaborate closely with the Integration Team to provide functional data mapping and assess the impact of configuration changes on EIBs Core Connectors and Studio integrations
- Design and develop Advanced Reporting Matrix Reports and Dashboards to provide HR leaders with actionable workforce insights
- Support Payroll Integrations PICOFPECI and ensure data integrity between Workday and local payroll providers
- Conduct deepdive Root Cause Analysis RCA for system defects identifying impacted data sets and executing cleanup activities
- Workday Extend Custom Apps Preferred Advantage
- Leverage Workday Extend to design and develop custom applications that sit within the Workday UI addressing unique FMCG business needs not covered by standard functionality
- Utilize Workday App Builder Orchestrations and Data Store to build highperformance secure extensions
- Stakeholder Collaboration Advisory
- Partner with HR Leaders HRIS Analysts and Global Stakeholders to document technical requirements and determine optimal configuration paths
- Lead interactive design sessions regarding Best Practices and Clean Core configuration options
- Maintain comprehensive Design Documentation and technical specifications to reflect the impact of changes on the global tenant
- Advise clients and internal teams on technical risks downstream impacts and scalability of proposed solutions
Primary Skills:
- 8 years of relevant Workday experience with deep technicalfunctional understanding
- Expertlevel proficiency in Core HCM Recruitment Compensation and Security
- Strong handson experience with Calculated Fields Business Processes and Advanced Reporting
- Proven track record in Workday Release Management and Regression Testing
- Deep understanding of Workday Security Groups and DomainBusiness Process Security Policies
- Experience in Functional Data Mapping for complex integrations EIB Cloud Connect Studio
Secondary Skills:
- Workday Extend Functional understanding or handson development of custom apps
- Prism Analytics Experience in data ingestion and pipeline management
- Hyperscaler Integration Knowledge of connecting Workday data to Azure Data Lake or GCP BigQuery
- Adaptive Planning Familiarity with Workdays planning and forecasting modules
- Workday Certification Highly preferred HCM Core Compensation or Reporting
