Role Overview
We are looking for a Workday Reporting Specialist with 8–11 years of experience to play a key role in developing business intelligence solutions within the Workday ecosystem.
The role involves generating high-quality people analytics insights, innovative reporting solutions, and HCM data models to enhance business stakeholders’ data literacy and analytical capabilities.
You will also manage and support key projects, provide ad-hoc analytics support, and build cross-functional dashboards and reports for various HR and business teams. Strong Workday technical expertise combined with stakeholder management skills is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Workday Custom Reports including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports.
- Build and maintain Workday Dashboards such as Trended Reports, Nbox Reports, Talent Dashboards, Compensation Dashboards, and Manager Dashboards.
- Utilize Workday People Analytics and Prism Analytics to deliver predictive insights and integrate external datasets.
- Provide advisory support to stakeholders using deep knowledge of Workday functional modules.
- Implement robust report security models, including field-level visibility for different security groups.
- Stay updated with Workday Community best practices and emerging technologies in workforce analytics.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret complex HR datasets from multiple sources with high accuracy.
- Translate technical insights into business-friendly recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Technical Skills (Must Have)
- Strong expertise in Workday HCM Reporting and Visualization tools.
- Deep understanding of HR data structures and Workday functional modules.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Workday People Analytics
- Workday Prism Analytics
- Embedded analytics and predictive modeling
- Experience integrating external data sources with Workday analytics.
- Knowledge of Workday Community best practices and advanced reporting techniques.
- Strong analytical capability to work with large and complex datasets.
Soft Skills (Must Have)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration ability.
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive results in cross-functional environments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and resilience under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- 8 – 11 years of experience in Workday HCM Reporting / Analytics.
- Experience in technical roles with business stakeholder interaction preferred.
- Workday Certification – Good to Have.
- Willing to work full-time from office in Hyderabad (5 days/week).
