- Proficient in overseeing a support ticketing queue with multiple open items, demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills;
- Capable of leading client status meetings and extracting relevant metrics;
- Handles client relationships, confirming effective communication;
- Offers functional and/or technical subject matter expertise;
- Directs process redesign efforts;
- Leads technical and test teams for the implementation of functionality;
- Provides recommendations to change activities to confirm business adoption and provides effective user training;
- Manages the complete project lifecycle to confirm timely project delivery;
- Meets with stakeholders throughout the organization to confirm a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining a complete understanding of current and future state business processes;
- Provides in-depth knowledge of the Workday application and evaluates the customer’s processes against the standard Workday functionality;
- Demonstrates experience in use of Workday in a support/AMS environment;
- Documents the business requirements which express what actions a solution should take and what outcome is expected;
- Is responsible for fixes and enhancements to the application to achieve the customer’s business requirements;
- Has industry experience and understands challenges and risks when providing professional services and supporting vertical applications and localizations;
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Analyze and understand business problems;
- Model data and processes;
- Conduct workshops and training sessions;
- Plan and carry out system and user acceptance testing
- Familiar with and experienced in:
- Core application functionality;
- Implementation Methodology;
- Application technology stack;
- ITIL process knowledge/understanding is highly preferred;
- Active Workday Core HCM, Payroll certification;
- At least 4 years of relevant Workday HCM experience and ability to work on multiple projects;
- Hand on experience in configuring Withholding orders, Taxes, Validations and Arrears;
- Subject Matter Expertise in payroll processing framework, Banking and settlement while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvements;
- Expertise on Payroll input and Audit, Off-cycle and on-cycle payments;
- Functional experience in multiple HR processes like Time Tracking, Talent, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, Benefits;
- Perform HRIS operational duties for Workday HCM and Payroll;
- Ability to work with the client and drive design sessions for various HCM/Payroll areas and hands-on experience in business process configuration and building validation/condition rules;
- Understanding of HR programs and policies along with a commitment to HR principles of confidentiality required data analysis and report building skills is essential;
- Hands-on experience creating and troubleshooting EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder);
- Ability to help customers resolve functional issues requiring in depth expertise in the Workday solutions;
- In-depth knowledge of Workday security framework, calculated fields, custom reports like Advanced/Matrix/Composite and setting up notifications;
- In-depth knowledge of various data sources available and how to use them;
- Analyze Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to clients existing configuration;
- Ability to maintain the highest regulatory and compliance standards in handling employee records;
- Ensure effective engagement and collaboration with cross functional teams (HRIS & Digital, P&C, People Analytics);
- Good to have additional certifications like: Time Tracking, Talent, Recruiting, Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Reporting;
- Knowledge on using object transporter, Customer Central for configuration and migration.
