Role Description This hybrid Workday Integration Consultant role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The consultant will design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations, including data flows between Workday and external systems, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with organizational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements with business and technical stakeholders, configuring Workday integration tools, managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) interfaces, and troubleshooting integration issues. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize HR, finance, and other business processes, documenting integration designs, and providing guidance and support during testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities. The consultant will also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying integration enhancements and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Workday-focused technical skills, including Workday Integration and Workday tools (e.g., Studio, EIB, Core Connectors).
- Experience with integration technologies and patterns, including Integration design, data mapping, APIs, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Consulting skills covering requirements gathering, solution design, stakeholder communication, and client-facing delivery.
- Background in HRIS, HCM, or ERP environments, preferably with hands-on Workday implementation or support experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, and documenting integrations, with attention to data quality and security.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, collaborating with onsite and remote teams in the London Area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications in Workday or integration technologies are an advantage.
