WORKDAY INTEGRATION CONSULTANT
Professional Summary
Workday Integration Consultant with 6–8 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting end-to-end integrations and reporting solutions across Workday. Strong hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, Core Connectors (CCW), EIB, and Workday-delivered connectors, with a focus on secure architecture, data quality, troubleshooting, and release readiness.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors (CCW), EIB, and Workday-delivered connectors.
- Develop and support complex inbound/outbound integrations with third-party systems using APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and file-based transfers.
- Create and maintain Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports; partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration and reporting defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive timely resolution with clear documentation.
- Implement data transformation, validation, error handling, and monitoring to improve data quality and integration reliability.
- Collaborate with functional teams on requirements, design reviews, testing, and deployment readiness.
- Work effectively within an application operations environment by supporting on-call processes, incident/problem management, SLA-driven triage, and production monitoring for integration services.
- Partner in a product-led operating model by translating business needs into epics/user stories, contributing to roadmap planning, and delivering iterative enhancements with clear acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with onshore engineering leaders on technical direction, coding/integration standards, peer reviews, and delivery governance to ensure predictable releases and high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure integrations align to security standards, governance policies, and Workday best practices.
- Operate effectively in public-company environments by following SOX-aligned controls, change management, and audit-ready documentation practices.
- Adhere to confidentiality and non-data-sharing guidelines; handle sensitive HR/financial data using least-privilege access, approved tools, and secure transfer/storage methods.
- Support Workday releases by executing regression testing, evaluating impacts, and implementing enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–8 years of IT experience with a strong focus on Workday integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Workday Reporting, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors (CCW), and Workday-delivered connectors.
- Strong expertise in advanced report development (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).
- Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and integration patterns for data transformation and validation.
- Experience with web services and APIs (SOAP/REST) and troubleshooting integration issues end-to-end.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting compliance, audit, and data-protection requirements (e.g., SOX controls, SDLC/change control, and internal data handling/non-sharing standards).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with third-party vendors (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance integrations).
- Knowledge of Workday business processes and the Workday security framework.
- Workday certification(s) preferred.
