Responsibilities for Workday Consultant
• Deep Understanding on Workday including: Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Offboarding, Talent Management & Learning, C&B, Time Management.
• Workday Development Lead - Lead enhancement & Change delivery:
o Solution Architect for the platform.
o Manages Workday enhancement backlog (Grow/Transform)
o Reviews configuration proposals for impact & compliance
o Oversees Workday Dev team (functional + integration + analytics)
o Ensures alignment with architectural standards
o Coordinates UAT, release cycles, and deployment approvals
• Functional Configurator - Build and enhance Workday configurations
o Designs & configures new business processes, rules, and validations
o Performs functional analysis for new requirements
o Builds testing scripts and executes functional tests
o Improves user flows for Onboarding, Job Change, Absence, C&B
o Works with Ops Lead to ensure landing of approved changes
• Reporting & Analytics Specialist - Develops Workday reports & analytics
o Builds custom Workday reports, dashboards, KPIs
o Ensures data completeness, accuracy, and quality
o Supports HR with operational and strategic analytics
o Automates recurring reporting & insights delivery
o Works with the SAP Engineer to ensure data consistency across BW and Workday.
Project Scope:
• Receiving transfer from customers, pro-active document current processes.
• Receive the ticket via ticket management system, response and resolve the ticket within pre-defined SLA.
• Receive and analyze the requirement, investigate and propose solutions, configure system
• Own and guide the process of effectively translating complex business, system, or non-functional requirements into clear, concise, traceable functional requirements and document them in a comprehensive repository within the business requirements document/functional specification document
• Conduct Testing, training to users.
• 24x7 monitoring, ticket triage, initial response, job scheduler
• Main working hours: Mon-Fri 08:00 - 17:00 CET
• EN speaking is a ‘must’
• Preferred: Experience working with Service Now
Qualifications for Workday Consultant
• Have Workday Certification
• Five or more years of progressive experience in the Workday configuration field or an acceptable equivalent combination of education, related training, and experience
• Experience providing technology solutions to global HR organizations
