Role Description The Workday HCM Functional and Integrations role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting and optimizing Workday Human Capital Management modules and related integrations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, configuring Workday HCM functionality, and documenting solutions. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining integrations between Workday and third-party or internal systems, as well as performing functional testing and validation of changes. The person in this role will work closely with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, provide user support, and ensure data integrity and system reliability. Collaboration on enhancement projects, release management, and continuous process improvement is also a key part of this position.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into effective Workday HCM and integration solutions.
- Solid communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
- Experience with HR business processes such as core HCM, recruiting, absence, compensation, or payroll, and the ability to map these processes within Workday.
- Hands-on experience with functional testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking for Workday configurations and integrations.
- Knowledge of integration concepts and tools (e.g., Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, web services, APIs, file-based integrations) to build and maintain interfaces.
- Previous work experience in a Workday HCM functional or techno-functional role; Workday certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with data validation, data migration, and reporting within Workday.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Active Certificate for Workday HCM Functional and Integrations is mandatory.
