You will:
● Serve as the functional owner and subject-matter expert for Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Security, Recruiting, and Integrations), ensuring system design supports People & Culture (P&C) processes.
● Translate business requirements from P&C teams (People Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition) into scalable Workday HCM configurations, security models, and business processes, documenting designs and impacts.
●Design, configure, test, and deploy enhancements and new capabilities in Workday HCM to support key processes like hire-to-onboard, talent enablement, compensation, and benefits, utilizing Workday best practices.
● Own and execute the Workday release cycle for HCM, including conducting impact analysis, developing regression test plans, executing testing, and communicating changes to P&C stakeholders.
● Partner closely with P&C, Finance, and Security teams to identify process gaps, standardize workflows, and drive automation that reduces manual work, improves data quality, and ensures compliance.
● Build and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including configuration notes, process flows, test scripts, and knowledge articles for end users and support teams.
● Troubleshoot complex production issues across Workday HCM, integrations, and related downstream systems, performing root cause analysis and implementing durable fixes.
● Define and monitor key P&C success metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, data accuracy, adoption rates) and use these insights to prioritize the backlog and validate system enhancements.
● Lead and/or participate in cross-functional strategic projects (such as global expansions or new HR platform rollouts) to ensure Workday HCM design supports scalable and compliant operations.
● Manage and prioritize a backlog of HCM-related requests, balancing strategic initiatives with operational support, and maintaining transparency with stakeholders on status and timelines.
● Support and lead change management activities, including coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), creating training content, and providing post-deployment hypercare for all changes impacting HR systems.
● Incorporate AI and ML-driven insights into dashboards and metrics so People & Culture leadership can proactively manage talent risks like voluntary attrition and time-to-fill.
● Experiment with AI-based automation (e.g., guided new hire onboarding, intelligent workflows for employee self-service Workday data updates) to reduce manual touch points across P&C operations.
Your team will:
● Deliver end-to-end Workday solutions for key P&C areas, including Recruiting, Talent Enablement, and Human Capital Management.
● Design, implement, and optimize Workday solutions that drive efficiency and streamline processes to align with People & Culture strategic objectives.
● Support critical HR functional areas such as Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Security, and Integrations.
About you:
● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
● 4+ years of experience as an HR Analyst with strong subject matter expertise in Human Resources (ideally Recruiting, Talent Enablement, and/or HR Operations).
● 2+ years of experience in configuring and maintaining HR systems, with Workday experience preferred.
● Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from discovery to implementation.
● Capable of systematically analyzing issues and translating conclusions into effective process or system designs.
● Experience working in an agile environment utilizing sprints for delivery.
● Curious about AI and automation and comfortable learning new tools (e.g., copilots, code assistants, or analytics platforms) to boost your impact even if you haven’t used them formally before.
Preferred Skills:
● Familiarity with Workday HCM configuration and reporting functionalities.
● Workday Pro Certified.
● Experience using AI-enabled tools (e.g., Workday-recommended features, test automation, documentation or analytics copilots) to speed up configuration, testing, or analysis.
● Experience with other HR-related systems like Ashby, Codility, Sana, and Lattice.
