About the Role
We’re looking for a Workday HCM Admin to serve as the primary technical administrator for our Workday landscape. You’ll ensure system stability, security, and performance across key HCM modules, drive configuration changes, troubleshoot complex issues, and manage integrations and releases in partnership with HRIS and Technology & Operations.
What You’ll Do
- Own Workday HCM administration across modules: Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and Absence—ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance.
- Manage user access & security: Roles, domains, and Segregation of Duties; conduct periodic access reviews and compliance checks.
- Configure & enhance business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, notifications, and security policies based on evolving business needs.
- Troubleshoot & deliver: Work closely with Technology & Operations and HRIS to resolve issues, manage & build integrations, and coordinate system updates and feature rollouts.
- Data stewardship: Perform data audits, EIB mass uploads/updates, reconciliations, and regular validations aligned to data governance policies.
- Support excellence: Monitor system performance, resolve errors, and handle Tier 2/3 escalations with strong root‑cause analysis and timely resolution.
Required Expertise
- Deep knowledge (hands-on) in at least four Workday HCM areas:
- Recruiting
- Compensation & Benefits
- Payroll
- Core HCM
- Strong configuration and bug-fixing background—comfortable owning complex config changes end-to-end and stabilizing broken processes.
- Experience with business processes, calculated fields, security, EIBs, and integrations (collaboration with HRIS/IT).
- Solid understanding of controls, compliance, and data governance in an HCM context.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
