About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Workday Application Engineer – Compensation & Benefits to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert, driving configuration, integration, and support of Workday Compensation & Benefits solutions while collaborating across HR and IT functions.
You will play a key role in delivering scalable, high-quality Workday solutions within an Agile/DevOps environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for Workday Compensation & Benefits modules
- Configure, customize, and support Workday applications and integrations
- Work across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Build and maintain integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Monitor data loads, interfaces, and system performance
- Collaborate within Agile/DevOps teams and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
✅ Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Compensation & Benefits
- Experience with Workday tools such as:
- Advanced Reports
- EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Workday Studio
- Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF
- Workday Web Services
- Solid understanding of Workday HCM (Core HCM)
- Experience in system integrations (SAP, ServiceNow or similar platforms preferred)
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and SDLC
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
⭐ Nice to Have
- Exposure to other Workday modules (Payroll, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking)
- Experience with ServiceNow HRSD
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (SQL, Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
