Job Description
Must Have Skills:
- Workday HCM Configuration
- Payroll (Core Payroll / NAM Payroll / UK Payroll / Global Payroll)
- Compensation & Performance
- Calculated Fields
- Condition Rules & Eligibility Rules
- Business Process Configuration
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in Workday HCM, specifically in a configurator role
- Strong understanding of Workday modules such as Payroll, Compensation, and Performance
- Hands-on experience configuring calculated fields, condition rules, and eligibility rules
- Experience analyzing configuration changes and their impact on security and integrations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in large global organizations with Workday implementations/support
- Strong knowledge of Workday business process frameworks
- Ability to perform impact analysis for Workday upgrades and change requests
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules including Payroll, Compensation, and Performance
- Analyze and implement configuration changes based on business requirements and Workday updates
- Design and maintain calculated fields, condition rules, and eligibility rules
- Perform impact analysis on configuration, security, and integrations
- Create and execute test plans, track defects, and ensure issue resolution
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions
- Support global Workday configuration and business process alignment
- Ensure high-quality documentation and adherence to best practices
