We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant, formerly known as Adaptive Insights, to design and implement scalable enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting solutions. The consultant will work with Finance, FP&A, HR and business stakeholders to translate planning requirements into robust Adaptive Planning models, integrations, workflows and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead requirements gathering and planning-process discovery sessions.
• Design scalable Workday Adaptive Planning models.
• Configure accounts, levels, dimensions, attributes, versions and assumptions.
• Build modeled sheets, cube sheets and standard sheets.
• Develop driver-based budgeting, forecasting and scenario-planning models.
• Configure workforce, headcount, compensation and operating-expense planning.
• Build dashboards, reports and executive management views.
• Develop OfficeConnect reports for Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting packages.
• Integrate Adaptive Planning with ERP, general ledger, HCM, payroll, CRM and external data sources.
• • Configure planning workflows, approvals, access controls and process management.
• Perform data conversion, reconciliation, testing and performance optimization.
• Support SIT, UAT, deployment, documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Troubleshoot model, formula, integration and reporting issues.
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience.
• Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Adaptive model architecture and configuration.
• Accounts, dimensions, levels, versions and assumptions.
• Modeled sheets, cube sheets and complex formulas.
• Dashboards, matrix reports and management reporting.
• Data loading, validation and reconciliation.
• Strong FP&A and financial-modeling knowledge.
• Experience working directly with Finance and business stakeholders.
• At least two Adaptive Planning implementations or major enhancement projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Workday Adaptive Planning certification.
• Experience with Workday Financials or Workday HCM.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Background in FP&A, accounting, finance transformation or enterprise performance management. • Experience migrating from Excel, Hyperion, Anaplan or other legacy planning platforms.
• Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
