Job Title: Workday Absence Consultant
Experience: 3–8+ years (including Workday HCM experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Workday Absence Consultant with experience implementing, configuring, and supporting the Workday Absence module. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM and hands-on experience with Absence setup, business processes, testing, and client support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain the Workday Absence module based on business requirements.
- Design and implement absence plans, leave types, eligibility rules, accruals, carryover, and validations.
- Configure business processes, security, notifications, and reports related to Absence.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and provide production support.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, and HCM teams for end-to-end solutions.
- Support Workday releases by evaluating new features and implementing enhancements.
- Create functional documentation and provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Workday Absence configuration.
- Strong understanding of leave plans, accruals, eligibility rules, carryover, and balance calculations.
- Certified Consultants
- Knowledge of Workday HCM business processes and security.
- Experience with Workday reporting (custom, advanced, and matrix reports).
- Familiarity with EIBs and Workday integrations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
