About the role

Primary Responsibilty: PMS Operation Trade and Transaction Management: Overee and ensure accurate trade execution and settlement for client portfolios in compliance with investment guidelines and regulatory standards. Monitor and track daily transactions, including buy/sell orders, corporate actions, and asset allocation adjustments. Coordinate with brokers, custodians, and banks for trade execution and settlement processes. Portfolio Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of portfolio holdings with external custodians and internal systems. Identify discrepancies between portfolio records and custodians and ensure resolution in a timely manner. Liaise with the investment and risk management teams to ensure portfolio data is consistent and updated. Client Reporting: Generate and review periodic client reports (monthly/quarterly/annual), including performance reports, transaction summaries, and portfolio valuations. Ensure that reports meet the required standards for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. Assist in preparing customized reports as per client requirements and respond to client queries regarding portfolio performance. Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., SEBI regulations) and internal investment policies. Coordinate with the compliance team to ensure that portfolio activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements. Identify and escalate potential risk issues in portfolio operations, and work with the risk team to mitigate them. System and Process Improvement: Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the proper functioning of the portfolio management system (PMS). Recommend and implement improvements in operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce the risk of errors. Conduct regular reviews of operational workflows and suggest improvements. Client Onboarding and Documentation: Support client onboarding process, ensuring that all necessary documentation, agreements, and KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance requirements are completed. Coordinate with legal, compliance, and sales teams for seamless client onboarding. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party service providers (e.g., custodians, brokers, etc.), ensuring that services are delivered as per agreed terms. Review and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and manage vendor performance.
