PV (Pharmacovigilance) :- roles involve monitoring the safety of medicines, identifying adverse drug reactions (ADRs), signal detection, risk management, and reporting to regulatory bodies, with positions like Drug Safety Associate, Medical Writer, Assessor, and Manager focusing on data collection, analysis, and ensuring patient safety throughout a drug's lifecycle. These roles are crucial in both clinical trials and post-market surveillance to protect public health.

Key Responsibilities in PV Roles :-

Data Management: Collecting, managing, and processing adverse event reports from healthcare providers, patients, and studies.

Regulatory Reporting: Preparing and submitting safety reports (like PSURs) and ensuring compliance with guidelines (ICH E2).

Risk Assessment: Performing signal detection, risk-benefit analysis, and developing Risk Management Plans (RMPs).

Safety Monitoring: Evaluating drug profiles for safety, identifying new risks, and preventing errors.

Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with doctors, patients, agencies, and companies.
