Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer / UI Developer with hands-on experience in WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce to design and develop modern, responsive, and conversion-focused websites and eCommerce stores.

The ideal candidate should have strong design sense, knowledge of website structure, user experience, and the ability to create visually appealing pages that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress
• Create and customize eCommerce stores on Shopify
• Design product pages, landing pages, collection pages, and checkout flows
• Work with WooCommerce themes, plugins, and store customization
• Create pixel-perfect layouts from Figma / Adobe XD designs
• Customize themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (for Shopify)
• Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and performance
• Ensure mobile-first and cross-browser compatibility
• Improve UI/UX for better customer engagement and conversion
• Coordinate with developers, content teams, and project managers
• Maintain and update existing websites and stores
• Troubleshoot design and layout issues

Required Skills

• Strong experience with WordPress website design
• Good hands-on knowledge of Shopify theme customization
• Experience with WooCommerce store design and product setup
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of Liquid templating language
• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles
• Knowledge of SEO-friendly design structure
• Experience with Figma / Photoshop / Adobe XD
• Good eye for typography, spacing, colors, and layouts

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of PHP
• Experience with custom theme development
• Familiarity with Shopify apps and WordPress plugins
• Knowledge of speed optimization tools
• Understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
