Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a WordPress Freelancer. The freelancer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, optimizing existing sites for performance and usability, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing custom plugins and themes. The role may also involve collaborating with the team to align website functionality with business goals and ensuring consistent branding across all web properties.
Qualifications
- Proficient in WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin creation
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for website optimization and enhancements
- Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques and troubleshooting issues
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementing strategies to improve search engine visibility
- Ability to integrate APIs and third-party tools into WordPress websites
- Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a remote working environment
- Experience with UX/UI design principles and tools is a bonus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred
