Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a WordPress Developer Intern. The intern will assist in developing and customizing WordPress websites, including front-end design and back-end functionality. Day-to-day responsibilities include theme customization, plugin integration, responsive design implementation, and troubleshooting technical issues. The intern will also collaborate with designers and senior developers to create user-friendly and visually appealing websites aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- must have knowledge of woo commerce
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including PHP and MySQL
- Experience with Responsive Web Design to ensure smooth performance across devices
- Knowledge of Web Design principles and a keen eye for creating user-friendly interfaces
- Foundational experience with WordPress and Web Development, including theme and plugin customization
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices is a plus
