Role OverviewWe are seeking a WordPress Developer Intern with prior hands-on experience in WordPress development. The selected candidate will support the development, optimization, and maintenance of websites, ensuring performance, usability, and SEO effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, update, and maintain WordPress websites
- Customize themes and plugins based on project requirements
- Ensure responsive design across devices and browsers
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
- Collaborate with design and content teams for implementation
- Support ongoing website improvements and updates
Required Skills and Qualifications- Prior hands-on experience with WordPress (mandatory)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and customization
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with page builders such as Elementor
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console
- Understanding of website hosting and domain management
Eligibility- Students or recent graduates in relevant fields
- Candidates must have practical experience working on WordPress projects
