Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a WordPress Developer. The WordPress Developer Intern will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites with both front-end and back-end functionality. Day-to-day tasks include implementing responsive designs, ensuring website performance, debugging issues, and collaborating with the team to enhance user experience and features.
Qualifications
- Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Back-End Web Development expertise, including experience with PHP and MySQL
- Web Design knowledge with an eye for visual detail and user-centric functionality
- Understanding of WordPress development, including themes, plug-ins, and customizations
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website issues
- Good communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
