Role Description
We are seeking a Wordpress Developer Intern for a hybrid internship role based in India, with flexibility for some remote work. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Wordpress websites for various projects. Daily tasks will include customizing themes, implementing plugins, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing site performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure user-friendly and visually appealing web interfaces are developed, while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Wordpress development, including theme customization and plugin integration
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL for backend development
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for resolving Wordpress issues
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development
- Familiarity with SEO principles and website performance optimization
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a collaborative team environment
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
