About the Role
- We are looking for a WordPress Developer with at least 1 year of experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with WordPress themes, plugins, website customization, and basic SEO implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Install, configure, and manage WordPress themes and plugins.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive WordPress websites.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot website issues and bugs.
- Manage website backups and updates.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs, forms, payment gateways, and CRM tools.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce customization.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website analytics.
- Experience with cPanel, FTP, and hosting management.
- Knowledge of Git/version control is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of Laravel or React.js is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console.
