Role Description
This is a remote contract role for a WordPress Developer. The developer will be responsible for building and maintaining WordPress websites, creating responsive web designs, and implementing both front-end and back-end functionalities. Additional tasks include troubleshooting website issues, optimizing website performance, and collaborating with the team to execute design and development strategies aimed at enhancing user experience.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Back-End Web Development and Front-End Development
- Proficiency in Responsive Web Design and Web Design
- Solid experience in Web Development, including WordPress themes, plugins, and customization
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Ability to optimize websites for performance, security, and accessibility
- Experience working in a remote and collaborative environment
- Familiarity with SEO practices and integration of third-party APIs
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred but not required)
