Role Description The WordPress Developer will work on designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications that meet client and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and customizing themes and plugins, implementing front-end layouts, optimizing site performance, and ensuring responsive design across devices and browsers. The role also involves collaborating with designers and other developers, integrating third-party tools and APIs, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining security and updates for WordPress environments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills.
- Candidates should possess solid Web Design and general Web Development skills.
- Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills relevant to WordPress, including theme and plugin customization.
- Experience with WordPress CMS, including custom themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, along with understanding of MySQL and REST APIs, is preferred.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), SEO best practices, and website performance optimization is advantageous.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, manage multiple tasks, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
