Role Description As a WordPress Developer at Melonleaf Consulting, you will work on designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications for a variety of clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include building custom themes and plugins, implementing responsive layouts, optimizing site performance, and ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deploy updates. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams and adherence to project timelines and best practices.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design.
- Strong skills in Web Design and Web Development, with experience in creating user-friendly, accessible, and visually consistent interfaces.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development within WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development, PHP, and integration with APIs.
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, security best practices, performance optimization, and CMS configuration.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), debugging tools, and modern development workflows.
- Ability to collaborate in an on-site team environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) or CRM ecosystems is a plus.
