About The Role
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with expertise in UI/UX design, WooCommerce, SEO, and website performance optimization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building, customizing, and maintaining our clients' websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, highly functional, and optimized for search engines and user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the digital growth of our clients. The candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate design mockups into responsive, high-fidelity web pages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with WooCommerce development.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Photoshop for translating mockups into code.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization techniques.
- Experience managing hosting environments, SSL certificates, and website security.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve frontend and backend issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience with tracking tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 is a plus.
- Knowledge of marketing automation integrations is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites utilizing Elementor, custom themes, and coding practices.
- Translate design mockups and Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive UI layouts.
- Write clean, efficient HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP code to extend or customize site functionalities.
- Ensure visual and stylistic consistency across all website pages, including typography and layout.
- Develop and manage WooCommerce stores, including product management, checkout processes, and payment/shipping integrations.
- Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals, ensuring mobile responsiveness.
- Implement on-page SEO strategies in collaboration with SEO teams to improve search engine rankings.
- Perform regular security updates, manage hosting environments, SSL certificates, and monitor website security.
- Detect and resolve issues such as broken links, 404 errors, and coding conflicts to ensure seamless user experience.
- Debug and troubleshoot frontend and backend issues at both WordPress and server levels.
- Set up and manage website analytics, including UTM parameters, conversion tracking, and event tracking.
- Integrate web forms with marketing automation tools like HubSpot and Convertkit.
- Maintain website stability through core, theme, and plugin updates, and monitor uptime and server health.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality websites.
