About The Role
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer & UI Specialist to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, highly functional, and optimized for performance. You will translate design mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect web pages, utilizing your expertise in front-end and back-end development. Additionally, you will manage WooCommerce stores, implement SEO best practices, and oversee website security and hosting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
- Proven experience in WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin management.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP.
- Experience with Elementor, Figma, Photoshop, and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce customization, product management, and payment integrations.
- Strong understanding of SEO, website performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with website security protocols, SSL management, and server hosting environments like CyberPanel.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for front-end and back-end issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor, custom themes, and coding.
- Translate design mockups from Figma and Photoshop into responsive, pixel-perfect UI layouts.
- Develop and manage WooCommerce stores, including product setup, checkout processes, and payment/shipping integrations.
- Write clean, efficient code to extend or customize site functionality, ensuring consistency in styling and visual design.
- Implement on-page SEO strategies in collaboration with SEO teams to improve search engine rankings.
- Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile responsiveness to enhance user experience and conversions.
- Manage website security, including SSL certificates, malware scans, and security patches.
- Perform updates on core, theme, and plugin components to ensure site stability and security.
- Manage hosting environments, DNS records, domains, and subdomains using CyberPanel or similar tools.
- Detect and resolve issues such as broken links, 404 errors, coding conflicts, and cross-browser/device compatibility problems.
- Set up and monitor funnel tracking, UTM parameters, and conversion/event tracking tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.
- Integrate web forms with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot and ConvertKit.
- Conduct performance testing and refine frontend code to improve website speed and user engagement.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO teams, and project managers to ensure project requirements are met effectively.
