Responsibilities
7+ years WordPress experience with at least 2–3 years in an architect, lead, or principal developer role
Deep expertise in Gutenberg / Full Site Editing custom blocks, patterns, theme.json, block locking
∙ Experience architecting and executing large content migrations (500–1,000+ pages)
∙ Strong performance engineering background you understand WHY CWV metrics fail and how to fix them at the architecture level, not just via plugins
∙ Familiarity with WordPress 7.0 (iframed editor changes, Abilities API)
∙ Technical SEO expertise redirect mapping at scale, schema strategy, canonical handling, crawl efficiency
∙ Proven WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility delivery with artifacts (findings logs, remediation reports)
∙ Strong communication and documentation skills
∙ Must be available and responsive during US business hours
Nice to have:
∙ Fintech, lending, or compliance-heavy content environment background
