Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative, self-motivated Social Media & Content Strategist to drive Woodhaven's digital presence and employee engagement. This role focuses on creating engaging content, growing our social media following, building community partnerships, and supporting recruitment efforts. You'll be out on the floor building relationships - not sitting at a desk all day!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (videos, reels, stories, graphics, posts)
- Attend events with Outreach and Admissions teams to capture photos, videos, and testimonials
- Use social media strategically to recruit candidates and promote services to fill beds
- Build external partnerships with schools, community organizations, and referral sources through social media outreach
- Engage in social media groups (Facebook, LinkedIn) to find candidates and build relationships
- Track analytics and produce monthly reports on social media performance and growth
- Maintain and update company website
- Design marketing materials for all departments (flyers, brochures, menus, signage)
- Support employee recognition programs and monthly newsletter
- Take new hire photos and send company-wide welcome announcements
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2 years experience in social media management or digital content creation
- Proven ability to create engaging video content (TikToks, reels, stories)
- Skilled in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong photography and videography skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent written communication skills
- Comfortable being on camera AND behind the camera
- Valid Ohio driver's license (travel between locations required)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred (not required)
