About the Role
Fleeke is looking for a skilled WooCommerce Developer to build, customize, and maintain our e-commerce platform. You'll work on theme development, plugin customization, performance optimization, and integrations to deliver a seamless shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain WooCommerce-powered websites
• Build custom themes and child themes based on design requirements
• Develop and customize WooCommerce plugins for specific business needs
• Integrate payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU, CCAvenue, Stripe, etc.)
• Integrate shipping aggregators (Shiprocket, Delhivery, Bluedart, etc.)
• Optimize website performance, page speed, and SEO best practices
• Implement and manage product imports, variations, attributes, and inventory sync
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, conflicts, and security vulnerabilities
• Maintain backups, updates, and version control (Git)
• Integrate third-party APIs (CRM, ERP, marketing tools, etc.)
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on WooCommerce / WordPress development experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL
• Experience with WooCommerce hooks, filters, REST API, and custom post types
• Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery) and popular WooCommerce plugins
• Knowledge of Git, cPanel, and basic server management (LAMP/LEMP)
• Understanding of SEO, schema, and Core Web Vitals
• Graduate in Computer Science / IT or equivalent practical experience
Good to Have
• Experience with headless WooCommerce or React/Next.js front-ends
• Knowledge of Shopify, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms
• Experience integrating with Indian logistics and payment providers
