Summary
Under general supervision, oversees moderately complex implementation projects or oversees various aspects of highly complex implementation projects. Responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure implementation deliverables are delivered on time and meet client requirements. Activities may include development of work plan, identify appropriate resources needed, coordinate activities of project team, facilitate/lead client meetings or other design/specifications sessions and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Ensures that implementations and related services are delivered on time and meet client requirements by maintaining control over the project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget.
Job Description
Responsible for administration and support of integration components for enterprise applications (EAI) using IBM middleware Technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, installation, administration, and advanced operations of IBM WebSphere MQ V8.x, 9.x, and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE 12 and 13) across Linux and Windows platforms, including cloud‑hosted deployments on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of middleware platforms
- Implementing DevOps and automation practices for ACE and MQ using scripting, configuration-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, OS patching, security vulnerability remediation, audits, and DR activities.
- Support audits and drive disaster recovery of integration platforms.
- Knowledge on infrastructure maintenance – housekeeping, server patching and other upgrades.
- Good knowledge in CI/CD, IBM PMR process, DevOps concepts, Security vulnerabilities, Audits and DR activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to quickly adapt to new environments and learn new technologies.
- Enable AI‑assisted operations by partnering with Platform, DevOps, and Innovation teams to support intelligent monitoring, proactive health checks, and anomaly detection across IIB environments.
- Integrate IIB operational data (logs, metrics, alerts) with AI‑driven platforms and dashboards to improve observability and operational insights.
- Contribute to Agentic and AI‑assisted workflows by providing domain expertise (IIB, MQ, environments, controls) and ensuring safe, governed access to system data.
- Support AI‑driven compliance and optimization initiatives, including audit evidence generation, vulnerability correlation, MTTR reduction, and participation in PoCs—while ensuring security, governance, and production stability.
Technical Skills:
- WebSphere Family: MQ Series 7/8,9, IIB10, ACE 13
- Version Control Tools: JIRA, SVN, PCVS
- RDBMS: SQL Server, Oracle 10g
- Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux, Windows.
EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelors or higher degree in computers/IT.
