About the role

Job Purpose: To lead and manage the Motor Casualty Claims Unit, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of claims, delivering exceptional client service, and meeting regulatory and compliance requirements. The role involves driving team performance, fostering a collaborative work environment, and optimizing claims management processes to achieve organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:1. Team Leadership:o Supervise and mentor the claims team, ensuring high performance and engagement.o Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.o Address escalations and support team members in complex claim cases.2. Claims Management:o Oversee the end-to-end management of motor casualty claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.o Monitor claims to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.o Analyze claim trends and provide insights to improve processes and reduce risks.3. Customer Service:o Handle customer complaints and disputes, maintaining a positive brand image.4. Operational Excellence:o Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to claims handling.o Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.o Ensure data accuracy and integrity within claims systems.5. Collaboration:o Coordinate with other departments such as underwriting, legal, and finance for seamless claims handling.o Represent the unit in meetings with stakeholders and external partners.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in motor casualty claims management or a related field.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent knowledge of insurance regulations and claims procedures.Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in claims management software and reporting tools.
