Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WLAN Wi-Fi Testing Engineer based in Chennai. The primary responsibilities include designing and executing test plans, running automated and manual tests, identifying and troubleshooting issues in Wi-Fi systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance. The engineer will also analyze results, document test processes, and contribute to the continuous development of reliable and efficient WLAN solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in WLAN and Wi-Fi technologies, including protocols and standards such as IEEE 802.11
• Proficiency in testing tools and methods for both manual and automated testing
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell for automation
• Understanding of network troubleshooting concepts like TCP/IP, routing, and network traffic analysis
• Knowledge of performance testing, compliance testing, and debugging techniques related to Wi-Fi
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related domains (B.Tech or M.Tech)
• Work experience in Wi-Fi driver testing and related tools is an added advantage
