Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Data Cloud resource to lead the end-to-end architecture design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Data Cloud. This role will serve as the technical authority and solution advisor across all Data Cloud programs, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance while mentoring teams and standardizing best practices.
Mandatory skills - Strong experience in Salesforce data cloud , Data modelling, data architecture, solutioning and implementation
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture design and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud
- Define and optimize data architecture layers (DLO, DMO, DSO) for scalability and cost efficiency
- Establish best practices for ingestion, identity resolution, unification, calculated insights, and activation
- Analyze and optimize credit consumption, ensuring efficient use of federation, ingestion, and activation credits
- Partner with enterprise data teams (Snowflake, Databricks, MDM) to define zero-copy or accelerated data flows
- Define governance frameworks including security, lineage, and compliance standards for the platform
- Oversee integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, and third-party systems
- Mentor consultants and associates, develop architectural templates, and standardize reusable components
- Act as technical authority and solution advisor for all Data Cloud programs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Salesforce Data Cloud architecture and implementation
- Strong expertise in data architecture layers (DLO, DMO, DSO)
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and MDM platforms
- Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks
- Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, and external systems
- Strong analytical skills for credit consumption optimization
- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce certifications (Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Architect-level)
- Experience with zero-copy data sharing and accelerated pipelines
- Knowledge of advanced identity resolution and unification strategies
- Ability to create reusable architectural templates and frameworks
