Job details:
We are looking for an experienced Go (Golang) Developer to join our engineering team and build scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Go, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-based application development.
You will work closely with product, engineering, DevOps, and QA teams to design, develop, test, and deploy reliable backend solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Go/Golang.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design and implement high-performance, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.
- Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Develop and optimize concurrent applications using Go's goroutines, channels, and concurrency patterns.
- Integrate applications with third-party APIs and internal services.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployments.
- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to code reviews.
- Monitor applications and contribute to improving system reliability and observability.
- Stay current with Go ecosystem developments and backend engineering best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on experience in Go/Golang.
- Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, concurrency, goroutines, channels, and error handling.
- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Strong knowledge of Git and software development best practices.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
