We are looking for a 12yrs+ experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of the core data, metadata, governance, lineage, and contextual intelligence architecture. This role requires a strong combination of enterprise architecture expertise, hands-on coding capability, engineering leadership, and production-grade code review skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement domain-driven enterprise data architecture
- Design canonical data models, ontology frameworks, and metadata standards
- Build enterprise-scale governance, lineage, auditability, and traceability architecture
- Design graph-based relationship mapping and contextual intelligence models
- Develop entity resolution, context enrichment, and semantic modelling capabilities
- Architect streaming data pipelines and execution analytics using Kafka and Spark
- Design bronze/silver/gold data models and idempotent execution patterns
- Support API/interface contract modelling and system registry integration
- Implement metadata persistence, retrieval, and governance analytics strategies
- Lead engineering teams with hands-on development and effective production-grade code reviews
Required Skills
- Enterprise data architecture and governance
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture
- Metadata management and lineage architecture
- MDM, entity resolution, ontology, and semantic modelling
- Graph databases and relationship modelling
- Kafka, Spark, and cloud-native data engineering
- Vector databases and semantic retrieval concepts
- AI-assisted metadata enrichment and contextual intelligence
- Modern DevOps practices and Git workflows
- Strong hands-on coding expertise (mandatory)
- Strong leadership and code review capabilities
Preferred Experience
- Experience in banking or regulated industries
- Exposure to governance and metadata platforms
- Product/platform engineering background preferred
