Role Description The Machine Design Engineer will work on-site in Delhi, India in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of hydraulic and pneumatic presses, conveyors, washing machines, and test rigs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conceptualizing and detailing machine designs, preparing 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools, and performing design calculations to ensure performance, safety, and reliability. The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and procurement teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost, as well as supporting installation, testing, and troubleshooting of machinery. The engineer will review and improve existing designs, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and document specifications and technical reports.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical understanding of machinery and industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in Machine Design, including design calculations, material selection, and component integration.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 3D modeling and detailed engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Automation concepts and integration of hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems into machine designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Experience in industrial machinery design or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
