Job Description
Sr. IT & Software Manager
Job Summary
The Sr. IT Manager owns Prodigee Finance’s IT systems, infrastructure, and information security. As core business applications are hosted on the cloud, this role keeps applications, networks, hardware, and cloud infrastructure running securely and reliably — supporting users across Head Office and branches, managing IT assets and vendors, and ensuring data security and timely MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and support core business applications (e.g., Synoriq LOS/LMS, Zoho People), including user access, roles, and configuration.
• Manage and monitor IT systems, networks, servers, and cloud infrastructure to ensure uptime, performance, and reliable backups.
• Administer cloud-hosted environments — compute, storage, and security — including monitoring, optimization, and cost control.
• Oversee API integrations between internal applications and third-party / bureau systems, ensuring they are secure and reliable.
• Manage IT hardware and assets (laptops, desktops, printers, network equipment) and maintain records of assets, software licenses, and AMCs.
• Provide technical support to Head Office and branch users, resolving issues within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with software, cloud, and infrastructure vendors for issue resolution and service delivery.
• Enforce data security, backups, access controls, and compliance with company and regulatory policies.
• Maintain office IT infrastructure (internet, connectivity, CCTV, utilities) for uninterrupted operations.
• Prepare and share MIS reports with management; train employees on applications and basic IT security.

Required Skills & Knowledge
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of IT hardware and networking (must-have).
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, as core applications are hosted on the cloud.
• Prior hands-on experience in cloud storage management, including administration, monitoring, security, and optimization of cloud-based storage environments.
• Experience in API integration with multiple applications, platforms, and third-party systems, including understanding of API architectures, authentication mechanisms, data exchange protocols, and integration workflows.
• Experience in application support, user management, and IT asset and vendor management.
• Sound understanding of data security, backups, and access management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in IT, including exposure to cloud-hosted environments.
• Experience in the BFSI / NBFC industry is an added advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Maintain 99% system and application availability.
• Ensure backups complete successfully and are recoverable.
• Resolve IT issues within defined timelines.
• Keep cloud infrastructure secure, optimized, and within budget.
• Submit accurate MIS reports on time.
• Ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations across all branches.
