Role Description The Travel Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Saket, responsible for managing end-to-end operations for B2B travel bookings and MICE movements. Daily tasks include coordinating itineraries, confirming services with suppliers, handling bookings and amendments, and ensuring smooth ground operations across multiple destinations. The role involves liaising with partners and internal teams, tracking timelines, and maintaining accurate documentation for group and FIT (Free Independent Traveler) travel. The specialist will monitor trip quality, resolve operational issues, and support pre- and post-travel requirements to deliver seamless experiences. This position also contributes to process improvements, cost optimization, and adherence to service standards that align with Travelzl’s commitment to operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, optimize costs, and support decision-making in travel operations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, and to handle queries and issue resolution professionally.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related capabilities to support B2B partner relationships, upsell services, and contribute to conversion and retention of accounts.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee bookings, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-ground execution for FIT and group travel.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan and deliver MICE events and group movements, manage timelines, and ensure all operational milestones are met.
- Relevant experience in travel operations, MICE, or DMC environments is highly beneficial.
- Good knowledge of popular international destinations, especially in Asia and the Middle East, and familiarity with travel industry tools or CRMs is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset are essential.
