Parsimony ERP Associate — Project & Product Manager
About the Role
Parsimony ERP is looking for a highly capable Project & Product Manager Associate to help clients successfully implement, customize, and improve their ERP systems.
This is a hybrid role that sits between client success, product management, implementation, business process design, and technical project management. The right person will be able to communicate clearly with clients, understand business problems, translate those problems into practical software improvements, and coordinate technical resources to deliver results.
You do not need to be a senior ERP architect on day one, but you must be sharp, organized, curious, highly communicative, and comfortable using AI every day to accelerate your work.
This role is ideal for someone who understands business operations, accounting, SaaS, CRM, ERP, or implementation work and wants to grow into a key operator inside a fast-moving ERP and business systems company.
Key Responsibilities
Client Discovery & Communication
Work directly with clients to understand their business processes, pain points, goals, and software needs.
Lead or support client meetings, discovery sessions, implementation calls, training sessions, and follow-up reviews.
Translate client needs into clear written requirements, workflows, tickets, project plans, and product improvement ideas.
Communicate professionally and clearly in English across email, chat, video calls, documentation, and training materials.
Maintain strong client confidence by being organized, responsive, and solution-oriented.
Product Management & Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve Parsimony ERP based on client feedback, implementation experience, and recurring business needs.
Help define product improvements, customizations, workflows, automations, dashboards, reports, and user experience enhancements.
Work with leadership and technical teams to prioritize features, clarify scope, and document expected outcomes.
Use AI tools to rapidly create drafts, workflows, specs, test cases, training documents, summaries, and implementation plans.
Think like a product owner: understand the client need, the business value, the user experience, and the technical tradeoffs.
Project Management
Coordinate technical resources, developers, implementation specialists, and client stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
Create and manage project timelines, task lists, deliverables, priorities, meeting notes, and status updates.
Ensure that customizations and implementations are clearly scoped, properly documented, tested, and delivered.
Track open issues, risks, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
Help prevent confusion by turning ambiguous requests into clear next steps.
ERP Implementation & Training
Support the implementation of Parsimony ERP for clients across accounting, inventory, CRM, sales, purchasing, manufacturing, projects, HR, reporting, and other business functions.
Help configure software, document workflows, test customizations, and validate that solutions match client expectations.
Train clients and internal users on ERP features, customizations, best practices, and business workflows.
Create training materials, guides, checklists, SOPs, short videos, and client-facing documentation.
Help clients adopt the software successfully, not just technically install it.
AI-Enhanced Work
Use AI as a daily productivity and problem-solving tool.
Apply AI to improve project planning, product design, documentation, workflow analysis, data review, QA testing, training content, and client communication.
Be comfortable experimenting with new AI tools and methods to increase speed, clarity, and quality.
Look for ways to automate repetitive work and improve internal processes.
Required Skills
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong communication skills with clients, internal teams, and technical resources.
Ability to understand business problems and translate them into clear software or process requirements.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple projects, clients, tasks, and priorities at the same time.
High comfort level using AI tools to accelerate work and improve quality.
Ability to write clear documentation, project updates, meeting summaries, process maps, and training materials.
Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn quickly.
Professional, reliable, and proactive work style.
Miro and other diagraming tools as well as AI methods of diagraming is required.
Helpful Experience
Experience with ERP, CRM, SaaS, business software, accounting systems, or implementation projects.
Experience with tools such as ERPNext, Odoo, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, or similar platforms. We focus on ERPNext as a foundational element and the Frappe Framework.
Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, inventory, purchasing, sales orders, invoicing, payments, financial reporting, or business operations.
Experience working with developers, technical teams, or software implementation teams.
Experience creating SOPs, training guides, process documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, or product specs.
Experience in project management, client success, business analysis, product management, or operations.
Formal education is helpful but not required. We care more about capability, communication, ownership, and learning speed.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can sit with a client, understand what they are trying to accomplish, and turn that into a clear plan.
They are comfortable with both business and technology. They may not personally write code, but they can work with developers, explain requirements, test results, and make sure the finished solution actually works for the client.
They understand that ERP software is not just software. It is accounting, operations, inventory, sales, people, reporting, process, and discipline all connected together.
They are also AI-native in their working style. They do not wait for perfect instructions. They use AI to think faster, draft better, organize complexity, and move projects forward.

Compensation & Work Arrangement
Compensation will depend on experience, capability, location, and fit - but ranges in the USD $1200-$2000 range for full time allocation of 40 hours per week. We do require daily time sheets to allocate on projects and client billing.
This position will be structured as full-time. No other employment can exist simultaneously with this position.
Remote work is acceptable, but the candidate must be highly responsive, reliable, and available for scheduled client and internal meetings.
