Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Product Designer (UI/UX) at Challenger App. The person in this role will design intuitive, visually compelling user interfaces and craft user experiences that support effective and engaging exam preparation. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, engineers, and content teams to define requirements, create wireframes and prototypes, and refine designs through feedback and testing. The Product Designer will conduct user research and usability testing, translate insights into design improvements, and ensure consistency across the product.
Qualifications
- Strong Product Design and Design Thinking skills, with experience shaping end-to-end user experiences.
- Proficiency in User Research and UX Research methods, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Experience with gamification, gaming products, or game design.
- Solid Visual Design capabilities, including layout, typography, color, and component-level UI design.
- Experience working with digital product teams, collaborating with product managers and engineers in agile environments.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar).
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and present work to stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and focus on measurable user and business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience designing for edtech, mobile-first products, or gamified experiences is a plus.
