Role Description The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the hospital’s financial and physical assets to support long-term sustainability and mission-driven growth. This full-time, on-site role based in Delhi includes tracking asset performance, maintaining accurate asset registers, and coordinating asset acquisition, allocation, and disposal in line with organizational policies. The specialist will analyze investment options, monitor financial portfolios, and prepare regular reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and return on investment for leadership. Daily tasks also involve collaborating with finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and efficient resource deployment across the SCEH network. The role requires proactive identification of process improvements and support in budgeting and forecasting related to asset management.
Job Purpose:
To oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management of organizational assets across the network, including procurement coordination, tracking, maintenance, verification, and disposal, while ensuring proper documentation and compliance with organizational policies and approved guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an accurate database of all fixed and movable assets across all locations within the network.
Ensure proper asset tagging, tracking, and record management.
Monitor asset allocation, transfer, return, and disposal processes.
Conduct regular physical verification of assets and reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain proper records of asset verification across the network.
Coordinate with procurement and store teams for new asset purchases, replacements, and issuance.
Manage asset maintenance schedules, repairs, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
Maintain warranty, insurance, and service records for all organizational assets.
Prepare and share monthly MIS reports with the Assets Committee regarding asset utilization, depreciation, and inventory status.
Arrange and coordinate regular meetings of the Assets Committee.
Support internal and external audits by providing required asset-related documentation.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies related to asset management.
Coordinate with secondary centres to implement guidelines, SOPs, and instructions approved by the Assets Committee.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improve overall asset utilization efficiency.
Take responsibility for overall asset management activities across the organization's network.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management
Expertise in inventory control and documentation
Proficiency in Ms Excel,asset Management software
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in commerce, Business Administration, supply Chain Management or related field
MBA/PG Diploma
Experience:7-10 years
